New DT Members!

Thank you to everybody who applied to be on our Design Team. We had a massive response, and whilst it was very difficult to choose our final three, it was great to look at all of your beautiful work.
We have replied to everybody who applied for a position, and a very grateful for the responses we received.
So without further ado I would like to welcome our three new members.....

Andree, Karola and Wendy!

ANDREE

My name is AndrĂ©e and I've been a freelance card designer and demonstrator since 2007. I don't really have a style of cardmaking, I like to try a bit of everything. I live in a corner of South West Wales where we have spent the past five and a half years renovating an old property so I can have my own craft room .This is my favourite of my recent cards xx

KAROLA

Hi, my name is Karola and I currently live in Cambridgeshire in England, although I'm originally from Finland. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. My Grandma, who worked as a dressmaker, has always been sewing and knitting. She taught me to knit and I can remember knitting clothes for my Snoopy doll when I was young. I also used to knit my way through my lectures at Uni. Over the years I have tried many types of crafts such as glass fusing, knitting, crochet, beading, sewing and cross stitching. Currently my main passion is paper crafting and particularly card making and stamping. I love online card challenges and seeing all the talent, inspiration and encouragement the online community of crafters has to offer. I have also inherited a love for cooking and baking from my Mum and I have lately been attempting to do some gardening, with varying success. I have a crafting blog called InvisiblePinkCards and a food blog called InvisiblePinkFood.

WENDY

Hi I'm Wendy, I've been crafting in some sort or another for most of my life, but have been paper crafting seriously  for about 3 years now. All my crafting is done in the evenings, as I have 2 kids and work full time in the motor trade. My predominant style is vintage and shabby chic, but I do love to experiment with different techniques and genres, particularly taking paper crafting away from cards and using it in other projects. Love this card, coloured using Distress Markers, sooo me!
